The second article I talked about doing article marketing with a purpose, writing articles that contain the information people are actually searching for. By now you have an article written on a specific topic that people are searching for. Also by now, you have a call to action at the end of this article so you can click on that at any time you choose to offer a solution to the readers problem.

Now we want to make sure people will see your article. This is the part of article marketing that is a promotion strategy. First, post your article on your blog or to an authority site like Ezinearticles, Hub Pages, Squidoo etc. so it’s on the internet. Then you have to promote your article through article directories so it will show up higher in the search engines. It’s not as difficult as it may sound if you use the right article marketing tools that take the heavy lifting out of it.

Article Marketing Is All About Backlinks

It’s actually really simple, you want as many sites a you possibly can to link back to your original article source you just posted to your blog. When submitting to article directories for article marketing, you get 2 links that you can put in your author resource box. You want to use your first link to point to your original article source with the keyword your article is about and the second link contains your call to action going to the front page of your blog or to a capture page.

The best way to submit articles to article directories for is to use an article submitter. There are many different submitters available and I’ve used quite a few. There are some free but I’ve noticed that you often get what you pay for so the free ones get your content up but not to as many directories as you need to really compete online. The best on by far in my opinion that is used by top internet marketers is called Article Marketing Robot.

Article Marketing Robot is the Ferrari of article submitters. Of course this is a software program that you buy and download to your computer. It is extremely inexpensive for what you get when you buy Article Marketing Robot. It has tons of features inside that will take a lot of work out of the equation for you. Once you put your article into Article Marketing Robot you want to spin it. Spinning an article replaces words you’re using with different words and creates a new article using different words that still mean the same. Since it creates a different article, the search engines look at these as a unique piece of content. Article Marketing Robot can submit to more than 2,000 article directories, blogs and other sites with a push of a button.

Once you spin your article inside Article Marketing Robot, click submit and you’re able to choose whether you submit your articles over a period of time or all at once. If you are pointing your first link within the author resource box to your original article source on your blog you’ll want to submit over time. If you are pointing it to an authority site like Ezinearticles, Hub Pages, YouTube etc. you can submit all at once. How To Write Articles For Article Marketing

article marketing tipsIn the last article in this series of article marketing tips, I talked about why article marketing is one of the best strategies to use when marketing online. So now I want to get into how to go about article marketing even if you’ve never written an article in your life.

Trust me when I tell you that any person can write articles to take advantage of article marketing. When I first started article marketing, I didn’t think I could write anything. To be honest my very first article took my 4 hours to write. I’m not kidding, it literally took me 4 hours because I was trying to get everything perfect.

Article Marketing Is Not Perfect

The first thing I want you to understand is that perfection is an illusion. It’s a lot like playing golf if you’ve ever played before. You can only get better with time and lots of practice but you can never be perfect all of the time. So if you don’t have to be perfect than just take action and everything will work itself out. Trust me when I say this because my first article took me 4 hours and now I can write a 500 to 750 word article in about 20 minutes.

The first to understand when your article marketing is that there a several different kinds of articles. Articles that tell a story, articles that discuss how to do something, articles that contain facts, figures and a knowledge base. But even though there are many different kinds of articles, it all boils down to one main principle that they all have. This principle is that the article is about one specific topic and is usually based on a specific keyword.

So if you’re going to write an article around a specific topic or keyword then it makes sense to write an article around a keyword that people are actually searching for. Google has a great free keyword research tool that you can use to see how many people are searching for a specific keyword or keyword phase. I’m not going to even attempt to explain this to you in this article since there is an abundant amount of information on how to do this. You want to be sure that whatever topic you are going to write about, you have enough knowledge in or do the research needed to write about it. For example if you were going to write a review on a product, service or company than you would want to be sure that what you’re saying is as accurate as possible.

Once you have your keyword topic in mind that you want to implement article marketing with, you want to have a certain flow within the article. Start with an opening paragraph that is going to tell the reader what they are about to read. Then through out the body you’ll want to include everything that you promised from the beginning. At the end of the article, you close it out with some final thoughts and extend those final thoughts into the author resource box with a call to action.

Now you don’t have to do that but I’ve noticed a significant difference in my results if I continue writing about the topic inside my author resource box rather than talk about myself. People really don’t care about you, they care about what they were searching for and if you can provide that solution to them, they will be far more likely to click on your call to action.

Article Marketing Tips To Accelerate Your Success

article marketing tipsWhen I first wanted to start marketing online I had no clue what I was doing and didn’t even no what article marketing or a blog was. Yet last month my blog got 50,000 visits. So what is it that I do differently than many other people do? The simple short answer is article marketing.

I tried doing paid media strategies because I had a little money to spend, but because I wasn’t great at copyrighting, I lost money which is not what you want in business. I also tried other strategies like spending hours on end in Facebook, but I just couldn’t get into it. Plus I didn’t really have the time to dedicate which is one of the things it requires. So that’s when I turned to article marketing.

Article Marketing Is A Beautiful Thing

You see the beauty of article marketing is that it’s like building an army of employees that are out working for you 24/7/365. You don’t have to pay much more than simply hosting your own blog and getting a few online tools to accelerate your progress. And yet you’re able to position yourself not only in search engines but also taking advantage of social media all through article marketing.

With article marketing you can literally dominate the internet in a short period of time if you can do one thing. That one thing is take action and be consistent. A lot of people start using the same strategy but after about 30 days and not much to show for it, they quit and say that article marketing is a waste of time. I beg to differ because on average I get between 10 to 15 leads per day without breaking a sweat. One day I got 28 leads through article marketing.

It’s a lot like going fishing. If you have only one pole in the water you’re going to catch a few fish here and there but not a whole lot. But if you have 90 poles in the water than your chances have increase exponentially. Why did I say 90? Because if a person makes a decision to do article marketing to build their business online and commit to doing one article every day for 90 days, they will make money, period.

In fact I start getting leads, commissions and sign ups in my primary company after 45 days. So it doesn’t really matter if you have great skills in copyrighting, but of course that helps. If you can focus on volume and mass production of articles, it’s like I said before. Your creating your own army of lead and commission getting employees working for you 24/7/365.

Now some people might say that article marketing just takes too long and if I’ve got money to spend I’m doing paid media. That may be true, but look at the difference here. Say you outsource your articles, pay about the same amount per lead and your article will be up forever through article marketing. It builds and compounds upon itself building you an asset.

So if you’ve got a marketing budget then I recommend you hire a people who can do the article marketing for you. It’s a much better trade-off in my opinion because it’s sustainable and you’re in control.

I’ve seen countless people get their business taken away over night by the Google slap and who knows how long until Facebook does the same thing. Paid media is a way to leverage yourself, however you are always subject to change as the advertisers see fit. If they don’t like what you’re representing, they’ll give you the boot without a moments notice. If that happens, poof your business is gone. Which is why article marketing has been able to stand the test of time.

3 Ways To Handle, How Much Are You Making

I’ve always found it funny how the network marketing industry is the only industry that a person has the nerve to ask, “How much are you making?” I mean seriously, what other profession has that question asked and with an opinionated undertone at that.

The truth is that it doesn’t matter how much your making right now and I know you’re going to say, “But, Scott yes it does.” Trust me, it really doesn’t if you have a really well designed sponsoring process that each prospect is taken through. Where you usually run into this objection is when a prospect hasn’t been qualified enough before the offer to join you is even an option.

Whenever I get this objection, it’s always because it’s too soon in my sponsoring process to be brought up. What I mean by too soon, is that the person has not gotten to know me, like me and trust me enough before I even ask if their open to working with me in my primary company.

If you can learn how to project confidence, that question rarely comes up in the first place. But since this article is about what to do in that situation, I’ll give you a few simple responses you can use that will combat this.

First of all, you have to understand why that person is saying that in the first place and what they really mean. You also have to listen to the way they say it to really get to the bottom of it. If a person says that with a sarcastic tone in their voice, it means that their walls are up and it’s going to take a hard slap in the face to get their attention. If they say it with a concerned tone in their voice, it’s out of fear and what they’re really wondering is how much can I make doing this and can you help me.

Let’s start with the loving slap in the face to get their attention and show them that you’re not going to be pushed around. I’m serious here, you’ve got to say something back to them that shuts them and commands the respect you deserve but at the same time doesn’t make them ticked off at you. One of my favorite ways to do this I learned from Cedrick Harris who is a master closer.

Now this technique requires that you have some attitude and posture in order for it to be effective. When they ask you, “How much are you making” you say “Well let me ask you a question… how much of the money that I make can you spend?” This totally catches them off guard, lets know that you mean business and puts it back on them. They say “Well, I can’t spend any of your money.” You say “Exactly, now what question should you be asking me right now?” They’ll say “Well…Uhh… How much could I make in this?”

See, you just made them rethink about challenging you because they gave you attitude and you gave attitude right back even harder. They back off, and you can continue with something like “Well to be honest you, I really don’t know since everybody’s different, how much do you want to make?” Now again, this depends on your personality and for some this might not be the best way. But it does work like a charm when done right.

Another thing you can do is just is make a joke, laugh, then ask a question. For example, they ask you “How much money are you making?” Now it’s really important that you say this in a sarcastic voice. “Ha, I’ve been in this thing for a few months now and I haven’t made a dime.” Again this catches them off guard. So they say “Really?” You raise your voice while laughing and say “No, not really what do you think I’m doing this just to pass the time, of course I’m making money. What is it that you do for work again?” They answer and you say “So would you keep going to that job of yours everyday if you weren’t making money?” Of course the answer is always no.

If your brand new a perfect thing to say is “You know, I just got started but the top guy I know made X amount last month.” Another great one I learned a long time ago is “I don’t really know because they haven’t finished totaling up my commissions from when I first signed up.” See with this one you’re actually telling the truth because you get paid residually and you’ll never really know.

The bottom line is to remember if a person gives you attitude, give it right back without hesitation. It’s also your duty to use these types of techniques because even if you’re making a lot, it doesn’t mean that person is going to.

So there are a few ways to handle the “How much are you making?” response from your prospects. But ultimately, the best way to handle it is to have a specific process that a person goes through before you are even talking about your company. With a well designed mlm recruiting process, you will rarely here this.
