More than 12 million Americans are jobless and 40% of these individuals have been out of work for more than six months. Overall the U.S. economy may be improving but many Americans still cannot find a job. This trend will only continue in the foreseeable future says James Altucher, managing director of Formula Capital, an asset management firm. The author and venture capitalist tells The Daily Ticker’s Aaron Task that the U.S. is moving toward an “employee-less society.”
I’ve known about this for years which is why I started my journey as an entrepreneur after the first time I got fired about 15 years ago.
Our entire system is based around control and suppressing people. We’ve been conditioned all our lives to be mindless slaves only doing what we’re told.
You remember when you went to school as a kid. You went to school Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 3:40 pm. Then according to society, if you want to make more money you need to have a higher education. So you fork out thousands of dollars to learn something and again you have a set schedule for your classes usually something like 9:00 am – 4:00 pm for example.
Then if you graduate and actually be part of the 7% that end up working in the same field they studied in college, you’re working 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday.
Do you see a pattern here?
If you do something consecutively, long enough and everyone around you is doing it, you’ll automatically consider it normal. It takes 30 days of doing something repeatedly to form a new pattern. But it takes years and years to form a habit that sticks.
Now I’m not a psychologist nor an expert on human behavior or a science major. But I do know that everything you see from the news to the tv programs you watch, all boils down to one thing… power and control. The news only provides us with part of the story and that part is the only part they want you to know. It’s usually filled with drama and heart ache with a hint of something good that leads you into a message from the government. LOL
Everything Is Based On Control
Even top executives especially need to be concerned about this. I know one person who was hired in a high level position with a very well known company. She had 2 or 3 assistants, was paid extremely well and treated like gold. Then 6 months later after her first project was done they fired her and said they no longer needed her to work there. The company made a fortune off from her work and she was left in a depression for the next 4 months.
If we as human beings actually discover that we can think for ourselves then we become less manageable. The higher powers of every country don’t want people to think for themselves and become entrepreneurs unless what you’re pursuing creates more jobs for more people to be under their control again. Which is why you see countless tax breaks for different types of businesses.
So Why Not Create Entrepreneurs From Thin Air?
Now here’s a concept. What if your job was to actually teach people how to unplug from “The Matrix” and start living a life of freedom. To actually be a part of the solution rather than part of the problem?
As you saw in the video above, that’s where the world is heading. So you can either be a head of the curve or try to play catch up with the rest of the world. The decision to take action is in your hands.
