If you’re reading this article you’re more than likely not experiencing the level of success you had hoped for when you signed the dotted line to become a Nikken Consultant. So it is my goal to show you several reasons why this may be happening but more importantly what you can do about it.
First of all what you must realize is what type of company Nikken is. Weather you are new to the network marketing industry or a seasoned vet, this will be extremely valuable for you to understand.
There are four different types of companies in this industry:
1) Scams
2) Party Plans
3) Big Boys
4) Holly Grail

Nikken is a Big Boy type of company. They have been going strong for more than 30 years and have built a successful long term following. They are not going to be going anywhere anytime soon that is for sure.
Since Nikken is a Big Boy company, I want you to realize what it’s going to take for you to achieve the results you want. With that said you need to understand that Nikken has already gone through it’s massive growth phase and you will have to work 10 times harder than the people who got involved with the company around 15 to 20 years ago.
Now don’t get me wrong here. You can have success but you must understand that the chances for you to make 6 figures per month is not possible unless you take the details of this article to heart.
The first thing I want you to realize is that business is moving faster than ever because of the technology of today. Ten years ago you could call someone up and they would actually answer the phone. They would open every email and they listened to CDs. The internet has completely changed the way the game is played today.
Let me give you a scenerio. You call up your friend Bob and share with him “the script” that your upline told you to say everyone. Bob tells you that he would listen to a CD to learn more.
You send Bob a CD and follow up with him a few days later. Bob says that he hadn’t had a chance to listen to it yet but he will tonight. So you call him the next day and he still hasn’t. A week goes by…. then two and you’re still calling Bob.
You know what Bob did? More than likely he didnt’ listen to the CD or maybe he listened to part of it, then went to his computer and did a google search for Nikken. He saw several different articles started reading and he also came across some that said NIkken Scam. So he decided to click on Nikken Scam and he learned about Nikken from a third-party and that it wasn’t a scams. The article actually spoke very highly of Nikken.
Bob continued reading different articles and watching videos from this person and being educated all about the industry. Bob comes to the conclusion that he can really connect with this person through all the content he’s reviewed. So Bob decides to opt-into this persons website and now he is communicating with someone else about being a professional in this industry. He is in the process of learning strategies that you didn’t even know existed.
Two months go by and you get a call from Bob. And he wants to find out if you’re still doing Nikken because he joined someone else in other company. Does this sound at all familiar? I know that was my reality about a year ago.
What I’m going to share with you right now is worth it’s weight in gold so I want you to pay attention. People join people not companies or products. People join you in Nikken because of YOU. The fact that Nikken is a fantastic company with amazing, life-changing products is just the cherry on top. Without you more than likely they wouldn’t have even given it a second thought.
Think about the legends in Nikken… Dave Johnson, Reid Nelson, and Dennis Williams. Do you know what they all have in common? They were all in this industry for YEARS before they learned about Nikken. So they built a loyal following of people that knew them, liked them, and trusted them when it comes to business decisions.
This is one of the biggest fundamental concepts that will forever change your perspective about your business. When you hear about a person who made high 6-figures their first year in this industry, it’s because they have a sphere of influence that has trusted them with business decisions in the past. This is why the approach that was given to you by your upline “Do you keep your business options open?” doesn’t work 99% of the time. It only works with BUSINESS people not aunt Bertha.
Now a lot of people are attempting to leverage the internet to market their businesses without a clue on how to effectively market. And I’m not talking about your NIkken InTouch system or any type of replicated website that the COMPANY makes an insane profit from every single month. Nothing against it at all… it’s a requirement to be a part of most companies. But, unless you know how separate yourself from all the noise on the internet, you’re just going to blend in with everyone else.
You have to brand yourself rather than your company. That’s what the top earners in this industry do… they lead the way by providing so much value to people that everyone just wants be apart of whatever they are doing. YOU are your biggest asset, not your company.
