The interesting thing is that nobody can really understand how he was able to do it. Well he outlined some unbelievable concepts that I didn’t even think about.

He talked about how the internet is used and how so many people who are trying to make money, completely miss the mark. And I’ll humbly admit that I was one of them.

It’s so simple and all you have to do is look at what is popular online right now. In fact you can go to Alexa.com and look at what the top 10 websites with the most traffic are.

You look at them and simply observe what they offer people. Now of course there was a lot more he dove into but you’ll have to buy the course yourself when it’s released to the public to find out.

Next up came Stephanie Deneke

stephanie denekeI’ll be honest, I’ve only heard a little about Stephanie and most of it was from other leaders like David Wood talking about her. I’ve gone to her blog several times and she’s got great content, very informative and real. But I didn’t realize the amount of knowledge she had.

But it wasn’t the kind of knowledge you might be thinking of. It wasn’t how to install a ton of plugins on a blog. She talked about why she gets so much traffic and doesn’t even try to rank it on google.

This blew my mind because I’ve always focussed my marketing towards ranking on google. Which is great but Stephanie is able to out do what I typically do with less work.

It was absolutely astounding and again, so simple that you wouldn’t even consider it a strategy. Now I said simple, that doesn’t mean easy. You see we all hide behind masks and try to pretend to be something we’re not.

The most successful people online are completely authentic with who they are and what they stand for. If you don’t like them or what they have to say… tough, go read someone else’s content.

Finally, last but not least, the dazling diva Tracey Walker

Tracey WalkerWhen she came on the webainr, of course you can’t help but hang on her every word. She dove in to what made her a legend online in the first place which was blogging.

More specifically were simple tips that even a newbie could follow and implement in their blogging that could have them ranking their content on the first page of google within a week.

Now this section was what I built my presence on but I even learned a few cool things. One of them was to use your Empower Network blog to give yourself some extra link juice and the search engines wouldn’t see it as duplicate content. In all honesty, I never knew that.

So now you see what you missed out on if you didn’t upgrade to all of the products that we have within the Empower Network?

Next time when I tell you that there is something you don’t want to miss and do whatever you can to get on it… DO IT.

Just with the concepts I learned tonight I could easily add an extra $5k per month without breaking a sweat.

Empower Network, The Epic Crash of 2011

Over the past 4 weeks there has been nothing but buzz going around about the Empower Network. If you are closely related to the internet marketing / home business niche, you can’t go anywhere without seeing people shouting 100% commissions from the rooftops. Right now as I’m writing this article, the Empower Network has crashed. But this crash is not what you may think.

Now I’m not a tech guy and I don’t see code like Neo from the Matrix. I don’t know much about internet servers and how they function, nor do I really care. I just care that when I’m hungry for a hot-pocket I can put it in the microwave, push a few buttons and in less than 3 minutes start eating, lol. But of course we all care when something isn’t working the way we want it to work especially when it revolves around finances.

Last night I received a call from a colleague of mine who wanted to do an interview with me about the Empower Network. What began as a simple 20 minute interview wound up lasting more than an hour and a half as I shared different struggles and challenges I’ve faced over the past decade of being in the network marketing industry. Needless to say it was full of stories, rants, struggles, and breakthrough moments in my life that I could write a book about and have an audience laughing, crying and leaving with a sense of awe. Of course it would be the cliff notes version since it was only an hour and a half long.

One of the things I talked about in this interview were the struggles that every person who enters any kind of entrepreneurial venture faces. If you don’t have a certain skill set than you have to find someone else who poses that skill set in order to succeed. If you can’t find anyone else to make up where you lack, then you’re forced to learn the skills required over time. That could be months or even years before you learn them let alone be proficient with them.

When I first started in the network marketing industry I was in my early 20s, born and raised in a small town of 4,500 people, moved to a city of roughly 450,000 people who I didn’t know, and I didn’t have a professional background other than being a graphic designer. Needless to say I had no skills and no major social advantage either. So I spent the next 9 years learning what most people would consider just simple common sense.

The offline or traditional network marketing model of talking to everyone you know about your business. And if you didn’t know anyone, you talked with anyone who had a pulse. That was simply a realm that my talents didn’t mesh well with. So after being sick of my results, or lack of I turned to the internet for a different strategy.

Fast forward to today and I have a small internet empire that has been created from nothing by leveraging technology, online tools and systems, information products and my own creativity. This in itself has been a journey and a learning curve that took a lot of dedication and frustration as I beat my head up against the computer screen trying to make something work on my blog.

That is where the Empower Network has really lifted the burden of succeeding with an online business. The empower network is a complete turnkey system that has all the products a person needs to be successful online.

empower server crashIt’s because of this concept that the Empower Network has experienced some recent growth challenges. The first challenge is to actually have servers that can handle the growth that is taking place. When you have more than 1 million hits and simultaneously enrolling 550 new member every day. I think any server would have a challenge keeping up with that kind of activity.

Again, I’m not a tech guy but a good example of this same challenge was actually brought up last night when I was being interviewed. Apparently there is some late night talk show I’ve never heard of called “Coast to Coast” or something like that. Anyway, every time that they have a special guest on that gets a massive audience, their server crashes because it can’t sustain that kind of load to it. So we’re talking about a major entity that has millions of dollars poured into it to be live for an audience’s entertainment and it too sometimes crashes.

So in the case of the Empower Network crashing 3 different servers because the growth was not anticipated makes sense. On top of that, finding merchant services that could actually handle approving several hundred applications quickly from one source can also prove to be difficult.

All in all the Empower Network is getting all the bugs worked out and when the site goes live again will be fully functional…

Last Night, Empower Network Fast Track Training Webinar… You Missed It

Last night I did a webinar training to help everyone on my team within the Empower Network accelerate there business growth. We covered a lot and what began as a plan to share some great tips over an hour turned into a massive huge awha moment for many that took up one hour and forty minutes.

Part of that was my fault because when I get going I start to ramble a bunch, part of the drawbacks with being somewhat A.D.D. at times. Unfortunately, in my hurried A.D.D. state that I usually am in, I forgot to hit the record button, but the good news is that for those who are already on the team and anyone else looking to come on board, I’m not going anywhere and a replay most definitely will be in order.

On this webinar, I talked about the visions of Empower Network and how many people it will impact. Not just within the online marketing niche, but offline as well. There were even a few people I pulled out like Dan Lillpop and Tim something who have been marketing online for quite sometime. One of them has actually been a full time online marketer who has been in the game since the internet began.

I asked him since he has been marketing online for that long, does he think that it’s possible that anyone could be a part of the Empower Network who has never marketed online before and make money. He said, Without a doubt, in fact he has been talking with a partner of his to take this offline because the offline market is so much bigger and this is finally a simple way that anyone could make money online. Essentially, any person whether a major background in online marketing or a complete newbie can start making money online today.

There were tons of other things that were covered through this webinar. I talked about why we blog daily with the Empower Network and showed examples of what can happen within a few months with my own personal blog. How a person can outrank millions of other websites and get on the first page of google almost anytime they want. I covered some simple keyword research techniques that allows anyone to write about what they are really passionate about. And how to be sure that what they write about, people are actually interested in reading.

I broke down a few simple ways to get more traffic instantly to any blog post. I covered a simple, yet highly effective use of your RSS feed to gain more exposure through multiple websites at the push of a button.

One thing is for sure. If you missed last nights call, you don’t want to miss another one. And if you are not even on my team yet, you can see the value that this team has. This value is not just with me and my knowledge alone.

I have created a private group that only members of my team can be a part of. As of right now, this team is a mastermind created with people from all walks of life. But how do you go about marketing online when you have a hard enough time checking your email.

The second challenge is to last long enough to get into profit. This is the number one source of frustration for most marketers. You see the network marketing industry is a long term model that takes years to compound. Because of these first two challenges the attrition rate is huge. Attrition is the death of residual income and it’s like trying to fill a bucket with holes full of water. Just as you sponsor one person into your business, two leave your business. It’s a never ending cycle unless you have a simple system put in place that inspires duplication.

Now of course the next challenge is how to build a business on the internet. Many people have spent thousands of dollars to learn how to market online without making a dime. And a few marketers have made millions of dollars teaching people how to get more leads which supposedly makes you more money. More leads do end up making you more money but if you don’t know how to sell or understand direct response marketing you have to get a crap load of leads which can take a long time.

This was where I was before the Empower Network. You see I’ve been able to get tons of traffic to my personal blog over time. Just one of my articles has gotten more than 45,000 unique visits to it. But does that mean I’m going to make money?
