During the last week I’ve been on a FREE 6 or 7 day cruise (lost track, LOL) compliments of one of my online ventures and to be honest, I’m glad to be back home. This was one of the most exhausting, relaxing vacations I’ve ever been on.
This was a vacation that was jam packed full of all you can eat food, adventures, friends and laughing till your belly cramps up.
I’ll be putting up some videos soon. Until then, here’s some quick details.
I got to see some Mayan Pyramids…
I explored the mystical ChaakTun Caverns, then relaxed on the beach for lunch…
And I even entered a few contests on the shipjust for fun…
The “Belly Flop” contest (can you say ouch)…
The “World’s Sexiest Man” contest, LOL…
Okay, I didn’t really want to enter the sexiest man contest… seriously. I was just taking a nap by the pool just relaxing when they announced it. I said this will be entertaining!
But there were only 5 guys who entered the thing and the cruise director was sweating bullets because they usually have at least 30 entries. So after a lot of coxing to everyone she finally got 8 more men up there and then here it came…
“Hey you should go up there”…
Still being half asleep I turned to the woman who said it and there were 5 other women smiling and nodding there heads.
Then the rest of them joined in…
“Yeah you should go up there”, “hey this guy should enter”…
One of them even came over and tugged on my arm a bit…
So…
I finally said, “Okay, I’ll do it.”
I reluctantly walked over shaking my head saying to myself “What the hell in my doing, I should be taking a nap, lol.”
Well I’m glad I did because it was a lot of fun…
And I don’t mind getting a ton people to laugh at my expense…
But the weirdest thing happened…
I Won, LOL…
After that, it was time to celebrate.
We started at the bar with some drinks then into swimming pool and ended up in the hot tub cracking jokes and having a ton of fun.
Then someone had a great idea to go rock climbing…
Well unfortunately we couldn’t because the wind was too strong so we decided on a game of basketball.
Now it had been years since I’ve played an actual game of basketball because of injuries…
You might be able to guess what came next.
We played for about an hour and it was awesome. Shooting 3 pointers, no look passes, driving to the hoop, grabbing rebounds and blocking shots. It all happened during this action packed 4 on 4 vacation basketball game.
I was up to all my old tricks and felt like I hadn’t left the game at all pulling out all my old moves. One last move presented itself to me when I had the ball and spotted a split second gab in the defense. So I set up my defender going left, immediately did a cross over and I had him. All was left was to power through the gab, take a step and lay it in hoop.
That’s when I heard a loud pop and the feeling of someone hitting the back of my calf with a baseball bat and I collapsed to the floor and knew immediately that the game was over for me. My only thought was how bad was the injury.
I never experienced anything like this before. Intense pain and then, numbness. Not good.
First thought… achilles tendon… surgery and 6 months rehab and never be the same again.
Luckily the cruise emergency staff was great, they took me to the medical area, checked me out, wrapped it up and given crutches. Not much you can really do without further testing.
This is the time when you really know how great human beings are to one an other. I was fortunate have a lot of friends on the boat that were there to help me and were truly concerned about my well being. There were also complete strangers that wanted to give me a helping hand where ever I went. Of course it didn’t hurt that everyone recognized me from winning the “World’s Sexiest Man” competition, LOL.
Now the World’s Sexiest Man is on crutches, how funny is that! It’s all about your perspective… and it gets better
Later on I finished packing my bags and put the lock on my luggage, then realized that I didn’t know where my luggage or house key was. After searching and searching, I accepted that I lost my keys to not only access a fresh pair of underwear and deodorant but also getting into my house.
If this was 2 years ago, I would have panicked and it would have ruined the rest of my trip. But instead, I focused on solutions to my problem rather than focusing on the problem itself. I remembered a buddy of mine has a spare key and once I’m in my house I’ve got a hack saw… problem solved and on to dinner!
So I’m finally home and overall had a truly BADASS trip. Coolest part is I only had to pay for the extra things I wanted to do… the cruise… FREE.
So how can I do all this stuff while still working a full time job? It’s actually easy when you know how to use the internet.

I just got back from the ‘Live The Dream’ event in Las Vegas and had one of the most profound experiences ever – but at the event itself I had a massive realization as to the actual ‘SIZE’ of our team. One of my partners decided to do a last minute private mastermind session with our actual team only (no guests invited – just team members) and we were expecting about 20 people to show up.
We had more than 100 people there! (about 1/4 people out of the ENTIRE MLSP event)
What you’re about to watch is about 30 minutes of a mastermind session that lasted for more than 3 hours – someone called the Fire Marshall – there was 50 people standing neck to neck out in the hotel hallway trying to get in the mastermind (all in the team) and so after this we moved up to a suite on the top floor – check this out:

Wow… this event rocked… that’s about all I can say. Got to network with lots of people and have a lot of ideas in store for the future. Just to interact with people who have vision was priceless. The whole event was jam packed with value. Brian, Todd and Norbert really over delivered as they always do. This is just an overall “highlight real” that is about 10 minutes long.
